First time member and poster here.

Two of us are staying at the Fairfield Inn in Mount Sterling on April 10th.  The rate (non-refundable) is right around $85.  Just throwing it out there to see if anyone else will be staying in the area.  It's about 1 mile from Old Silo.  There are a couple places to eat and consume a couple beverages in the area.  Here's to good weather and fun 2010 season!

Long-time reader, first time poster! Yea Dan and myself will be at Fairfield Inn and would also like to be in the same foursome Steve if that is possible. Looking forward to a good time in Old Silo with hopefully the same weather we will have this week.

Looks like that's basically it.  I think the problems with the stay and play scared people away.

Preseason events can be hit/miss in regards to attendance since there's no points and it's not an actual tournament.

I was very impressed with Old Silo yesterday. For so early in the season, the course was in excellent shape. Unfortunately the bunkers had not been turned for the first time this year so they were a bit hard but the grass everywehere was excellent.

I would love to play there some time during the summer when the vegetation is at full growth.

Mid-season week day road trip anyone........?  Smiley
My driveway to OS parking lot was 1:20 so another road trip is not out of the question.

I love the course.  It's a great layout and already heard back from Aron Strine and Ron Spencer that they were impressed as well.

Would definitely like to go back but maybe not the weekend of the Masters  Smiley

We were back by 3:30 and watched all of the drama unfold for Phil.  Old Silo is a nice course.  I'd definately go and play again.

I agree that Old Silo was a great course. Very challanging, but fun to play. I would definitely be up for another trip down for a round.
