OVGA Amateur Golf Tour

Seven time Cincinnati Metropolitan Amateur champion, Jim Volpenhein, will be in the field for Opening Day on April 12.  Volpenhein, who won his first Met championship in 1981 and his 7th in 2004 (defeating current Nationwide Tour player Kevin Hall in the final), will be looking to add his first OVGA Tour victory to his trophy collection.

“I love the concept of the OVGA, because it gives players of all levels the chance to compete,” Volpenhein said.  Volpenhein recently joined the OVGA’s Board of Directors and was key in getting a sponsorship agreement finalized that will rename the tour the EZ Go OVGA Tour.

With the addition of Cincinnati’s most decorated amateur golfer, the OVGA continues to be the Best Golf Tour in Town…Any Way You Slice It!
