The Hamilton County Park District and the OVGA proudly present the Great Parks Challenge. A four event Championship touring the golfing gems of the Hamilton County Park District. This Championship is a handicap event contested under USGA rules and is open to all OVGA members and guests. The Championship will be awarded to the player with the lowest cumulative NET score from all 4 events.
- This championship is open to all OVGA members and Guest's. See the OVGA handbook for Guest rules.
- The winner of this Championship will be determined by having the lowest cumulative Net score for all four events. The player's Net score will be determined by subtracting the players establish GHIN course adjusted handicap from the player's gross score. Players without an established GHIN handicaps will have their scores adjusted via the Callaway Handicapping system.
- All players will play the Tee Box(s) assigned to their Flight.
- In the event of a tie. The first tie breaker will go to the player with the lowest Net score at any of the events. The second tie breaker will be the lowest net score on the #1 handicap hole at the Mill Course followed by the #2 handicap hole and so on until a winner is determined.
- The winner will possess The Great Parks Challenge Cup for a period of one year.
